Cut the best part of any song or video into a ringtone: M4R for iPhone or MP3 for Android. Free, in your browser.
iPhone ringtones can be up to 40 seconds long, so longer cuts are shortened. Add the M4R file to your iPhone with Finder (Mac) or iTunes (Windows); on Android you can set the MP3 as a ringtone directly.

About the formats
M4R
M4R is the iPhone ringtone format: AAC audio in an MP4 file with the .m4r extension. iPhone ringtones can be up to 40 seconds long.
MP3
MP3 is the most widely supported audio format. Its quality is set by the bitrate, from 32 to 320 kbps: 32–64 kbps is enough for voice recordings, 128–192 kbps sounds good for most music, and 256–320 kbps is close to CD quality. A minute of stereo at 192 kbps is about 1.4 MB.
